Each dish is designed to quickly drain water off soaps, keeping them dry and lasting longer. These dishes are a one piece design with no nails, glue or anything that can come apart after years of use. 

Beech wood - a harder, very durable wood, slightly heavier, has more of a luxurious feel to it. It is long lasting even in wet environments and does not bleed tannins.
